Subsidized rentable space for creatives, makers, builders, and doers, reducing the cost and risk of going it alone so more people in our community can come together to teach, learn, create, and build. Whether you’re a first-time organizer or a seasoned host, there’s a place for you here - support provided.
Common Space
If your programming is ticketed and a part of your business or source of income, or if you otherwise have the means to do so, we ask that you pay our standard flat rental fee of $50/hr (including any necessary setup and clean up time). If you need to discuss a different rate, just let us know.
If you’re hosting a free or donation-based event, donations are split 75% facilitator // 25% Fix Way, not to exceed the $50/hr rate.
This money supports operations and helps keep our programming accessible for all.
Pricing
The Common Space has different areas suitable for workshops, classes, clubs, performances, art shows and more. The possibilities of the space are nearly endless.
Studio: large open room with space for communal tables, group seating and more
Patio: outdoor patio space with large work table, ping pong table and casual seating

Use of the Space
Our shared space aims to host workshops, classes, and other experiences for the education and enjoyment of the community. As a space that prioritizes connection, we are open to anything that positively brings people together.

Art, music, and collaborative creative projects
Mutual aid efforts
Experiments, prototypes, and weird ideas
We are less interested in activities centered on extraction, exclusivity, or maximizing profit at the expense of community values.
Facilitator Memberships
We offer an annual membership for facilitators who want a consistent, predictable, recurring place on the Common Space calendar. These memberships are on a sliding scale based on how often you host.
